Bolton, Perez & Associates
provided value-engineering services for the
Flamingo Road bridge which crosses South
Florida Water Management District's (SFWMD)
C-9 Canal. The work included review of the
existing bridge design and plan documents
and a written report of recommendations.
Shop drawings for all precast bridge
elements and bridge submittal items were
reviewed for conformance with the design and
specifications. BPA also conducted
construction inspection services (CEI)
during construction of the bridge which
included reinforcing steel placement
inspections, pile driving record log,
concrete sampling, mill certificates of the
reinforcing steel and materials testing.
